“Cooking My Way Back Home: The Real Story”
As our first documentary-style piece on chefs, “the real story” is the best way to explain both what Mitchell Rosenthal’s cookbook, “Cooking My Way Back Home” is about, while also defining what we at Jaded Palate believe in.
Rosenthal’s cookbook project presented us an opportunity to showcase what we do best: getting to the essence of our client’s character. Mitchell is a man of heart, filled with passion and dedication to his life’s career. By following and filming him in several aspects of his life, both at work and play, with the people that make up his world and inspiration, we were able to capture his true character. Venturing into the basement where Mitchell feels the “real” chefs manifest his vision demonstrates who he is: not merely a man blabbering at us to sell a cookbook.
Mitchell now uses this piece on Amazon.com, on his four restaurant websites and is adding other on-line retailers as we write this.Watch for yourself and let us know what you think. And, if you’re so inspired, go ahead, buy a cookbook.
